Compassion is LOVE in action

Compassion is love in action.

In 1 John 3:18, John talked about what we are to do when we see others in need. He told us to have active compassion: “Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed.” When we see a need, it’s good to talk about it, but we must also do something about it. We are instructed: “Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only” (James 1:22).

Ask the Holy Spirit to place someone on your heart to help in Jesus’ name. Then take action. Make a difference today. Send a card. Give a gift. Offer a ride. Make a call. Love in deed is love indeed.

1 John 3:16-24 (New International Version)

16This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? 18Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 19This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence 20whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

21Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. 23And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

This is a wonderful love that God give us. Lets us put this love into action in our life.

This is the day, that i make a big decision in life and make a step into relationship...God i really put first in my decision on that time. God, i know that You care about every area of my life, especially who i date. On the night, i open my heart for someone. I told him that i have feeling toward him. in the first place its hard for me. but, i give the question to him "what are you thing about me" he answered the question with his honest answer that i really appreciate it. Its what wonderful night that i said i do have feeling toward him. He start to say the first magic you for me. He said I love you. i cant explain with the words in my heart, but only God know the Joy in my heart on that time. Thank you , Lord. Thank you Lord for bringing him into my life so we encourage each other to grow closer to You, Father. God thank you to bring me into this relationship. Hope this is not only the feeling of to person but the commitment between to person that start to make one step in they life. yeah, I really in love. Lord i pray for the guide and protection from You. Lets our relationship not just a feeling but commitment with each other. Beside that, we follow you will but not our own will. I happy God with the wonderful person that start to paint the wonderful color in my life... I love you my dear Panda...
